How to Create a Proposal
The CuraDAO is a community-driven impact fund. Simply said we support anybody in Curacao that wants to have a positive impact on the island in gathering the needed resources to execute a social impact project.
The resources in CuraDAO are allocated on the basis of proposals, which are documents or videos that describe what you want to do, how you will do it and what you will need to successfully complete it.
Creating a project proposal
Let’s get started! First open the Proposal Template and select make a copy from the File menu on the top left corner of the screen.
You have now made a personal copy of the proposal template which you can edit. Change the title to the title of your proposal and contiue to fill in all of the sections of the proposal. An example of a proposal can be found here. Feel free to add necessary sections or ask the community if you want any help.
After completing your proposal it is recommended to share it with the CuraDAO group for some feedback, tips and involvement. A good way to receive feedback is pressing the Share button on the top right of you Google Docs screen and selecting “Anyone with the link can comment”. If you share this link other CuraDAO members can directly comment their suggestions into the document.
Submitting your proposal
After receiving feedback and improving your proposal it is ready to submit. Head over to the CuraDAO application and press on blue New proposal button on the top right of the screen. You will now be asked to login to your Metamask account. After login in you will see a proposal window pop up. Fill in the blank spots and press submit. Now a Metamask window will open, press Submit.
After 10-15 seconds your transaction will be completed and your proposal will succesfully submit to the CuraDAO!
The CuraDAO members will have the opportunity to vote on your proposal and decide if you are a good addition to the CuraDAO. It generally takes about 4-5 days to review a proposal and distribute resources.
We await your proposal!
